In partnership with a local custom motorcycle shop, we are offering a 10-day tour of Bali to G-Land and Red Island, East Java to test out the surf breaks there. Expect a combination of Indonesia’s best roads, beaches and reef breaks. All throttle, all surf, everyday, on the move, covering ground and seeing as much of these islands as physically possible. This might just be the side quest of your dreams. Advanced​/​Brave Intermediate surfers only. (Intermediate surfers may prefer the Bali to Lombok side quest option also available).

Itinerary

Day 1-2: Base of Operations (Uluwatu) ● Activity: Arrival in Bali (DPS). Pick up and meticulous preparation of the bikes. Buy supplies (energy bars, water) for Day 3. ● Surf: Warm-up sessions at Uluwatu and Bingin. ● Mindset: Get proper rest. Day 3 is an endurance test. Day 3: THE ASSAULT (Uluwatu -＞ Medewi -＞ G-Land) ● 5:00 AM: Departure! (Pitch black). Ride from Uluwatu to Medewi. ● 8:00 AM - 10:30 AM: Surf Session at Medewi Point. ● 10:30 AM - 11:30 AM: Quick meal, refuel bikes and water bottles in Medewi. ● 11:30 AM: Depart for Gilimanuk (Bali Port). ● 1:00 PM: Arrive at Gilimanuk. Paperwork and board the ferry. ● 2:30 PM (Bali Time) ​/​ 1:30 PM (Java Time): Arrive at Ketapang (Java Port). ● 1:30 PM (Java Time): Immediate departure south. ● 3:00 PM - 3:30 PM: Arrive at the entrance of Alas Purwo National Park. ● 3:30 PM - 5:00​/​5:30 PM: THE TRACK. This is where the real challenge begins. Slow, technical riding with extreme caution, especially on custom bikes. The goal is to reach the G-Land camp before sunset (approx. 5:30 PM). ● Accommodation: Check-in at one of the G-Land Surf Camps (Plengkung). Day 4-5: The Prize (G-Land) ● Activity: Wake up in the jungle, in front of the world's most perfect wave. ● Surf: G-Land. Full days dedicated to surfing Moneytrees, Kongs, and Speedies. The previous day's effort will have been worth it. ● Vibe: Total isolation. Surfers only. Spot the park wildlife (monkeys, deer, peacocks) on the beach. ● Accommodation: Jawa Jiwa G-Land. Day 6: Jungle Exit (G-Land to Red Island) ● Activity: Dawn patrol surf session at G-Land. ● 10:00 AM: Hearty breakfast and check-out. ● 10:30 AM - 12:00 PM: The return trip on the Alas Purwo track. (It will be easier in daylight and while rested). ● 12:00 PM - 2:30 PM: Ride on Java's roads to Pulau Merah (Red Island). ● 2:30 PM: Arrive and check-in. ● Surf: Relaxing afternoon session at the Red Island beach break. ● Accommodation: Red Island. Day 7-8: Relax at Red Island ● Activity: Slow the pace. Enjoy the 100% Javanese atmosphere. ● Surf: Pulau Merah. Fun beach break waves, perfect for loosening up the muscles after the G-Land tubes. Works on all tides. ● Mechanics: Use this time to clean and check the bikes after the park's punishment. ● Accommodation: Red Island. Day 9: The Return (Leg 1: Java -＞ Bali) ● Activity: Final morning session at Red Island. ● 11:00 AM: Depart from Red Island to Ketapang (Port). (Approx. 3 hours). ● 2:00 PM (Java Time): Arrive at the ferry. ● 3:30 PM (Java) ​/​ 4:30 PM (Bali): Arrive at Gilimanuk (Bali). ● 4:30 PM - 6:00 PM: Ride to an intermediate stop. Do not attempt to reach Uluwatu at night. ● Accommodation: Medewi or Balian. This is the smart stop to break up the trip. Day 10: The Return (Leg 2: Balian -＞ Uluwatu​/​Airport) ● Activity: Optional morning glass session at Balian. ● 10:00 AM: Leisurely ride from Balian to Uluwatu. (3-4 hours, accounting for Canggu​/​Kuta traffic). ● Final Activity: Arrive in Uluwatu, celebration, and bike return. Transfer to the airport (DPS).
